Confused at the title of this blog? Let me explain!
July 2nd is my 34th birthday.
July 4th is Our Country's Birthday!
Last year Jasea and I were hit with a large mortar shell that left my right arm and Jasea's face and arm severly burned.I cry every time I look at these pictures of my not quite 2 year old baby. She should have never had to endure the pain of this burn. We cried together every morning and night during horrible treatments. I am a strong advocate of "NO home fireworks." If you wonder why? Just look closely at my baby's face!
She was such a brave girl and she healed miraculously. I am so proud of her and I love her deeply.
July 6th is Jasea's Birthday! And doesn't she look great?

Oh, I remember the 101 phone calls to my house when we stopped at our house for something while we were at ward camp. I will never forget the pain she went through, and the pain my sister went through. You are a very strong mother, and she is a very strong little girl, with you on this--No home fireworks--It's not worth it..
Wow Chels, I had forgotten about the fireworks and I don't think I ever saw her cheek because we were in California for several weeks after it happened and then it was always covered. Sure looks great now. Happy birthday to both of you!!!!!
A year later you can't even tell it happened! You both look great.
And happy birthday Chelsea!

I thought of you guys as we watched some fireworks go off on the 4th. We don't do our own either and probably won't ever. I am so glad you guys are okay now. It looks like your summer has been as eventful as ours. Way to blog so we can keep up with you.
